On the Stradovarius Series, we developed a neck that follows exactly the shape of the inside (the palm) of your hand. It gives you a very comfortable feeling and your hand is less tired after a long-playing session. The lower, fingerboard-neck corner is sharper than the bass side fingerboard-neck corner. Your thumb sits easier on the back of the neck.
The bass side of the neck contains more wood under the E-A-D strings.
This gives you a more balanced sound with clearer, smoother treble and brilliant, fat bass sounds. Due to the Smilefrets ant the asymmetric neck shape, our guitars give you the possibility to play “splitted” barrщ chords (example: the F chord).
That is: taking the bass strings with your thumb. I assure you: this is much, much easier…
